The Fine Print, in Plain English
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
The short version. This website keeps very little. There are no accounts for visitors, no ads and no third-party trackers. We count page visits on our own server, without cookies. What you say to Fida is used only to answer you and is not stored by us. If you write to us through the Contact page, we receive what you send so we can reply. We never sell or share anyone’s information, and we never ask for your keys, passwords or account numbers.
Who We Are
Demofida (demofida.com) is operated by Timatsu LLC, based in North Carolina. Questions about this policy go through our Contact page.
Talking with Fida
Fida, our AI agent, answers what you type. Here is what happens to your words:
- To write a reply, your message and the conversation so far go to our server and then to an AI model provider (OpenRouter, which routes it to the model that writes the reply). The provider handles your message under its own terms. We do not store your conversation, and no person reads it.
- Some answers never reach the model. A crisis, a scam in progress, gambling and any question about what to buy or sell get a fixed answer written by people, straight from our server.
- In your browser, the chat keeps the current conversation for that tab only, so it survives a reload, and it is cleared when you close the tab. Fida also remembers its own opening greeting in your browser. Neither leaves your device.
- Please keep private matters out of the chat. Never share a seed phrase, password, account number or Social Security number. Fida is not an adviser and cannot keep a confidence; see our Notice.
Keeping the Lights On
AI replies cost money, so we take two small measures to keep them fair and affordable:
- Usage records. For each AI reply we record the time, which feature answered, and how many words (tokens) it used and what it cost. The record does not contain what you or the AI said.
- Limits. To stop abuse, we count requests from each IP address in short-lived counters that reset within an hour or a day.
The Money Words
The Money Words is a page you read. Nothing you do there is sent to us.
The Contact Form
If you write to us on the Contact page, we receive what you enter: your name, your project or organization if you add one, a phone number or email, the topic you choose and your message. It is stored in Demofida’s own database, emailed to the Demofida team, and used only to reply. Please leave out account numbers and anything private about your money. We will delete your message on request.
Team Sign-In
The sign-in page is for the Demofida team only; visitors do not have accounts. When a team member signs in, their email and password are checked by our identity provider (Supabase), and the site sets two cookies: demofida_session, which keeps them signed in for up to 12 hours, and demofida_master, which lets them edit their own profile. Both are strictly necessary for the team dashboard and are never used to track anyone. Every cookie is listed in our Cookie Policy. Visitors who do not sign in get no cookie.
Our Service Providers
- Vercel hosts the site. Its servers see your IP address and browser details and keep standard request logs for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts serves the site’s typefaces, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- OpenRouter and the AI model it routes to write Fida’s replies.
- Supabase hosts our databases: the team sign-in, the usage records and short-lived limit counters, the visit counts, and the messages people choose to send.
- Resend delivers Contact page messages and service alerts to our team.
We do not combine this information with anything else, and we do not use it to identify you.
Counting Visits
We count visits to demofida.com on our own server, so we know which pages people read. Each count keeps the page, the site that sent you there (if any), a campaign tag if the link carried one, whether you were on a phone, tablet or computer, and your country. It sets no cookie and stores no IP address. To tell one visit from the next on the same day, we keep a scrambled code made from that day’s date, your connection and your browser type; it changes every day, so no one can follow you from one day to the next. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted.
What We Do Not Do
- No third-party analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or social media trackers.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, ever.
- No collection of account numbers, balances, keys or anything about anyone’s money.
- No training of AI models on your conversations by us.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your Choices and Rights
We hold no conversations or profiles of visitors, so in most cases there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you sent us a message, you can ask us through the Contact page to delete it at any time. Residents of states with privacy laws, such as California, have rights over personal information a business holds; we never sell or share personal information.
Changes
When what this site collects changes, this policy changes first, and the date above changes with it.
